Title | The Missing NPC |
Brief | We built an immersive virtual experience by recreating the plot of the new Netflix Teen Series Cielo Grande in a metaverse map in Roblox. On this map, tweens could participate in the same wakeboard tournament as in the series, do karaoke with other users, and even join a Meet & Greet with the cast from the Cielo Grande series. But the most exciting part of the experience was that users were tasked to solve the main mystery of the plot and find a character in Roblox who they are unable to find in the series. By creating this experience to promote the new Netflix series, we blurred the lines between advertising, gaming and TV. |

Story | For the release of Cielo Grande in Latin America, Netflix’s new series for tweens, we took things to the next level with a one-of-a-kind metaverse experience on Roblox. Knowing that the online game platform is extremely popular among pre-teens, we gamified the plot of the show—giving future fans the opportunity to visit the main locations, solve mysteries and find an actual character that goes missing in Cielo Grande’s storyline. And to make the experience even more engaging, players also got the chance to meet and greet the cast during a gaming session event on the day of the premiere. |
